The Duke of Sussex had sued Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) for damages, alleging that the group had used illegal methods to obtain information they had used for publications between 1996 and 2010. It is unclear what type of visa Harry had started his new life in the U.S. with. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services can reject applications due to previous drug use – even if the officials have room for maneuver here. Nevertheless, things can get tight for Prince Harry.

Federal Judge Carl Nichols gave the U.S. government a week to decide on the release of documents relating to Harry's visa application at almost exactly the same time as Prince Harry was sweating on the witness stand in the UK court. If the authorities refuse, a trial would be necessary, Nichols decided. While his second-born is being grilled on both sides of the Atlantic, King Charles III (74) decided to take a break at his home in German-Weißkirch (Viscri) in Transylvania in Romania after all the coronation hype.
