Prince Harry's situation in the U.S. court comes to a head while he is cross-examined in court in London. Meanwhile, father King Charles is at the media detox in Transylvania, feeding chickens.

London/Washington/Viscri – On the last day of the three-day testimony in London, Prince Harry (38) can try again today to turn the tide in his favor. The Duke of Sussex had sued Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) for damages, alleging that the group had used illegal methods to obtain information they had used for publications between 1996 and 2010. But while the lawyers are trying to undermine Harry's credibility in cross-examination, dark storm clouds are also gathering in the US sky over the prince.

The suspicion of an elitist treatment of Prince Harry is also in the room

A decision is pending in the legal dispute over Harry's U.S. visa: At the scheduled hearing before a federal court in the U.S. capital Washington, lawyers from both sides appeared on Tuesday. Prince Harry made the mess for himself with his candid coverage of his past drug use in his memoir "Spare," published in January. In it, the father of two described experiments with marijuana, cocaine and mushrooms in great detail.

Not a trivial offense. These statements were a thorn in the side of the conservative US think tank called the Heritage Foundation. Just like Prince Harry's stay in the USA. Harry may have concealed drug use when applying for his U.S. visa. It is possible that if he lied, he was in the States without a legal residence permit. Therefore, the foundation demanded the disclosure of Harry's visa application, which had initially been rejected on the grounds of privacy.

The battle over Prince Harry's visa disclosure goes one step further

U.S. immigration law provides harsh penalties for making false statements to immigration officials, including deportation and exclusion from applying for U.S. citizenship. Prince Harry fought over the secrecy of his U.S. visa application, according to Britain's Daily Mail. The suspicion of special treatment for the ex-royal was in the room. But the authority was not obliged to disclose and had no interest in doing so.

But now the activists are one step closer to their demands for the publication of the visa. "This request is in the public interest. In light of the possible revocation of Prince Harry's visa for illegal drug use and other questions regarding the Prince's drug use and whether he was properly screened before entering the United States," Mike Howell, director of the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project, told the Daily Mail.

It is unclear what type of visa Harry had started his new life in the U.S. with. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services can reject applications due to previous drug use – even if the officials have room for maneuver here. Nevertheless, things can get tight for Prince Harry.

King Charles III relaxes in Transylvania without his wife Camilla, without luxury, without media?

Federal Judge Carl Nichols gave the U.S. government a week to decide on the release of documents relating to Harry's visa application at almost exactly the same time as Prince Harry was sweating on the witness stand in the UK court. If the authorities refuse, a trial would be necessary, Nichols decided. While his second-born is being grilled on both sides of the Atlantic, King Charles III (74) decided to take a break at his home in German-Weißkirch (Viscri) in Transylvania in Romania after all the coronation hype.

After the reception in Bucharest by President Klaus Iohannis (63) and a few shots at the start of his hiking holiday with the people, to whom Charles III feels connected "by his blood", it became quiet around the newly crowned. Only one Facebook post has made it into the media so far. It shows the monarch in the chicken yard, with the basket for collecting eggs in one hand, the feed bucket in the other hand in a shirt and rubber boots. "King Charles III is currently devoting himself to housework in Romania in his dominion of Viscri.
