Emil Lahaziel, an Israeli citizen from Ashkelon, was murdered during a poker game in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood. One of the witnesses to the case was actor and star of the Pitch Perfect film series, Adam Devine.

Devine addressed the murder in a podcast interview, saying: "People came to the scene in Lamborghines, Burdens and Rolls Royce cars. I saw old people there who must have come to sleep with prostitutes and play cards. I see all these guys, and it's really fun to sit and watch it so me and my wife sit on the balcony and watch. It just seemed crazy."

"But here it gets sad," the actor said, referring to the shooting and murder. "Someone was murdered there. It's just terrible. That's what I call a serious f**k. A real human being just isn't with us anymore. I said to myself, 'Something nasty is happening there,' and unsurprisingly, someone was murdered. It's not a Hollywood story, it's real life," Devine told the interviewer.

Emil Lahaziel, a 39-year-old resident of Ashkelon, was murdered yesterday during a poker game in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. He was shot dead and hit by three bullets while standing at the entrance to the luxury house where the game was taking place. Police believe the killer managed to flee the scene, apparently after getting into a nearby getaway vehicle. The motive for the murder is still unknown.

Witnessing a gruesome murder did not appear to have a profound effect on the actor, as he posted several photos on his Instagram page showing him hanging out in the pool, less than 12 hours after the incident.
