5250 hotels in 200 countries
The best hotel in the world will be known at the end of June during the presentation of the first ranking. Unlike restaurants, hotels will be classified by categories: beach hotels, mountain hotels, romantics, eco-friendly hotels...
To date, The List has 5250 hotels in 200 countries in its database. "The level is much denser than in restaurants. There are many more very good hotels than very good restaurants in the world," said Jörg Zipprick, co-founder of the List. According to him, this ranking will make it possible to integrate the opinions of publications "very rooted in the hotel landscape but which are not distributed or insufficiently distributed in Europe, such as Forbes Travel Guide or Condé Nast Traveller.
