At the assizes of Nanterre, the regrets of three women accused of having kidnapped and prostituted a teenager

Three women accused of kidnapping, beating and prostituting a 15-year-old girl delivered their versions Thursday to the Nanterre Assize Court, repenting and partially acknowledging their responsibility.

Each of the women approached the victim to apologize for the ordeal she suffered during the three days in April 2014 when she was humiliated, beaten by her torturers and raped by three men.

If we did this to my children, I would like the death penalty, I would not stand it, "said Wendy H., her voice choked by sobs. "It's not forgivable, you didn't deserve it," adds Danaé K., in a more monotonous tone. As for Christel W., who hosted the young women at her home in Meudon, she says she did not know that the victim was a minor, returning at length to her alcoholism and drug addiction. But "if I had the ability to do it, all this would not have happened," she swears.

The three women are accused of kidnapping with torture or barbarism, complicity in rape and procuring. Mahfoudh M., Mouloud B. and Raymond A. are on trial for rape. All appear free under judicial supervision. Heel of a pump planted in the breast, simulacrum of penetration with a broom, hair held to force a: Wendy H. admitted to having participated in the abuse inflicted on the teenager. "I was the meanest, the most violent," admits the young woman, 22 years old at the time. "But I didn't do everything," she hastens to clarify.

According to Wendy H., Danaé K., who was 21 years old, also insulted and hit, which she confirmed while minimizing her participation. Christel W., then 43 years old, contacted men to offer them sex with the minor she presented as a prostitute and threatened to "turn in the cellars", according to Wendy H. Wendy H.'s lawyer, Mourad Battikh, portrayed "three people with chaotic journeys, lonely and lost". His client spoke of "jealousy" towards the victim, who appeared thin when the accused were all overweight. "How far could it have gone?" asks the president of the court to Danaé K. "It could have gone very, very far" if the police had not intervened, confesses the young woman.

On Friday, the court will hear the submissions of the advocate general as well as the pleadings of the lawyers of the civil parties (the victim and his mother) and those of the defense.
