In her podcast "With a woman's waffles", the 49-year-old now admits in conversation with presenter Laura Karasek (41) that she is being asked more and more often when she will hang up her TV career.

The TV star says that sometimes it still feels as if she has just established herself. However, Barbara Schöneberger is finding out more and more often that this is no longer the case.
"And do you want to continue as long as Mr. Gottschalk?" the 49-year-old is said to have already been asked. More and more often, the presenter is being pushed in the direction of "shifting down a bit, wouldn't be bad," she admits in an interview with Karasek. It's a good thing that Schöneberger is supported by her guest, who is eight years her junior. "But you are still a few years away from Mr. Gottschalk in terms of age. That's how long you can go on," says Karasek.

Schöneberger began her TV career in 1998 in the Sat.1 program "Bube, Dame, Hörig", and since then the 49-year-old has become an integral part of the German TV world. Schöneberger celebrated her first success in 2001 with her show "Blondes Gift".
