In the wind of history, Rome is stunned with a striking beauty that, since the dawn of time, has dominated the arts and the rest of the world. It is not surprising that, in this Italian city, the only one in the universe to qualify – without complex – of Eternal City, the jeweler Bulgari took twenty years to build a hotel there. It took no less than eight establishments everywhere else before this new address of Roman hospitality opened a few hundred meters from its historic shop (via Condotti). A bit as if, from London to Paris, from Beijing to Tokyo..., Bulgari hotels prefigured an ultimate achievement. "In our other hotels, there are a lot of references to Italy, but here it's not just the country, it's Rome," says Vincenzo Falcone, its general manager.
Roman, it is by its location first, in Piazza Augusto Imperator, facing the mausoleum of Augustus, tutelary figure of the new Bulgari.
