TV viewers have never seen this on TV: The "Schlager des Sommers" with Florian Silbereisen had to be cancelled in 2019 due to bad weather. The fans also had to leave.

Klaffenbach – The temperatures are rising, the days are getting longer and the big hit shows are taking place in the open air again. But the open-air sniffing also brings with it some risks – the weather, for example. Even if the organizers meticulously plan everything down to the smallest detail, the weather cannot be controlled. Florian Silbereisen (41) has also known this since July 2019 at the latest.

Demolition due to storms: MDR shows biggest weather breakdowns at hit shows with Florian Silbereisen

Florian Silbereisen, one of the greatest German pop stars of all time, invited to the big open-air Schlagersause in July 2019. The moated castle in Klaffenbach was the perfect backdrop for this, but the weather didn't really want to play along. Because hours before the recording of "Schlager des Sommers" the first raindrops fell.

But the pop stars did not miss it and performed even in pouring rain. But the later it got, the worse the weather became. Lightning and thunder were too dangerous for the organizer and the show was canceled. All fans had to leave the grounds.

Since the show was recorded and not broadcast live, the show should continue as soon as the weather improves again. But then without spectators, they were finally sent home. But as if Florian Silbereisen's fans had known that it would continue that evening, they waited in their cars – and then came back again.

Summertime is vacation time. Even though he has already been to the most beautiful places on earth as a "dream ship" captain, the pop star Florian Silbereisen is very attached to his homeland on his own vacation.

Too dangerous: Schlager star Florian Silbereisen breaks off dress rehearsal

Florian Silbereisen was already unlucky with the weather last year. During the dress rehearsal for "Schlager, Stars und Sterne" 2018 in Kitzbühel, it rained similarly heavily and at that time lightning and thunder joined in. The rehearsal had to be stopped by Florian Silbereisen himself. However, the Austrian noble village showed its good side. The actual show could still take place.

All these recordings were never shown and are in the archive of the MDR – until now. Because with the new show "The crazy hit show highlights" these storm pictures and the reactions of the pop stars are now brought out of the TV basement. If you don't want to miss it, you should tune in on Friday (June 9, 2023) at 20:15 p.m.

Speaking of which: When Florian Silbereisen reports from Austria with his "Schlagerbooom" on July 1st, the pop singer will not only celebrate a premiere with it, but will also have numerous guests and highlights up his sleeve. Nevertheless, this does not help him to have a longer airtime in the first. Sources used:MDR/The crazy hit show highlights from June 09, 2023
