At the "Giovanni Zarrella Show", Roland Kaiser had to rewrite a song line with the word "Mohrenkopf", which is now considered politically incorrect. Now, however, the pop star returned to the original.
Kamenz – Roland Kaiser (71) is currently on his "Alles O.K.! - Open-air '23" tour. The pop star also performs a medley of hits by Udo Jürgens (†80). This is already known to the fans from the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" – but Roland Kaiser now sings the original lyrics with the word "Mohrenkopf" again.

For his appearance in February on the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" on ZDF, Roland Kaiser had to change the lyrics in Udo Jürgens' hit "Aber bitte mit Sahne". Because the word "Mohrenkopf", which is sung in one line, is now perceived as discriminatory, it was replaced by the more common synonym "chocolate kiss" instead. However, Roland Kaiser does not seem to have been completely convinced of this step.
On his tour, Roland Kaiser is now his own master again – and as Schlagerprofis.de reported, he actually sang the original lyrics again at his performance in Kamenz, which reads: "They blow and puff, almost nothing goes in anymore. Only a Moor's head at most, because there has to be order." The 71-year-old could have chosen a different line for the medley in order to avoid a discussion. Apparently, however, the artist wants to show a clear edge.
More than just a pop star: Roland Kaiser was also on the road as an actor
In addition to his successes in the music business, Roland Kaiser has already made several excursions into the TV business. In 2012 he was seen in the "Tatort" episode "Summ, Summ, Summ" from Münster and played the pop star Roman König. Together with Axel Prahl, he was also in front of the camera for the ARD tragicomedy "Eisland". The world premiere of the film will take place in the summer of 2021 as part of the Munich Film Festival.

Although Roland Kaiser is holding back with a statement, it stands to reason that the pop star left it with the original lyrics out of respect for the original artist. Already at the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" he had remembered his old friend Udo Jürgens: "I knew him for 40 years. We were really friends and I still have a hell of a lot of respect for him."
