Fürstenfeldbruck – The months of April and May were too wet and too cold. The citizens had to wait a long time, because spring was a long time coming. Now the beautiful weather has set in. Reason enough for the Kreisbote to ask how people use the sunny days.
On Friday afternoon, in the middle of the Whitsun holidays, there are few people out and about in Bruck. Many are still on vacation. Those who stayed at home, on the other hand, enjoy the friendly weather. A walk along the Amper is particularly inviting. There, Sylvia Stadler from Emmering strolls along the river together with Husky Juri. She is currently clearing out her apartment. "I'm still living in chaos and I'm just structuring. Let's see where what can be put and what can be disposed of. Today I'm going to give away a box of books," says the 68-year-old, who plans to go dancing at the Gasteig the next day, where funk and soul are the order of the day. Then she will go back to the educational counseling center, where she works as a social pedagogue.

Frank Enzmann is also based in Emmering. He walks a little more across the monastery courtyard. Prior to this, he visited the Assumption of the Virgin Mary together with relatives from Saarland. Later, he will meet family members and friends in the Fürstenfelder restaurant and invite them to a barbecue the following day. The 60-year-old heads the Munich Foundation for Education, Art and Culture, which supports and promotes artists from the surrounding area. Born in the Palatinate, he is currently preparing a vernissage that will take place soon.

Martin Moser, on the other hand, runs the company Moses Kfz, which specializes in electronics and air conditioning technology for automobiles. The 55-year-old is accompanied by his wife Barbara. The goldsmith says that you can make "great excursions here in the area". Almost always with him is dog Balu. The four-legged friend also enjoys the early summer weather and has just cooled off in the pond on the Cistercian Trail.
Fürstenfeldbruck is also appreciated in the Rhein-Neckar district: a married couple from Schwetzingen. © Roman-Michael Schäfer
Not far from the AmperOase is a motorhome belonging to a couple from Schwetzingen in Baden-Württemberg. The husband jokingly says in reference to their vehicle: "We are the Wobis and together we are 130 years old." The two of them come to Fürstenfeldbruck from time to time. And this time there is a very special reason for this: the baptism of the granddaughter. But even so, there are enough reasons to come here. "Tomorrow we'll cycle to Lake Ammersee," the elderly gentleman reveals his plans. In addition, a visit to Munich is planned.
