According to the information of the Parisian, confirmed to the Figaro by the prosecutor of Lorient, it would not be a relative of the victim.
The body of the young woman was found adrift thirteen days ago in a river near Lorient. At the end of May, witnesses had reported seeing the young woman around 3:30 am on the night of Friday, May 26 to Saturday, May 27, in a street in Lorient, carried by an individual.
A judicial investigation already opened
Last Friday, a judicial investigation was opened by the Lorient prosecutor's office for the charges of "kidnapping", "voluntary homicide" and "rape". Tuesday, June 5, the examination of the body of the young woman had confirmed a "criminal origin" involving "the intervention of a third party".

The body of the victim, Iris C., born in 1999 and originally from the Lorient region, was discovered by walkers on the morning of Saturday, May 27 in the waters of Blavet. According to the prosecutor, she "had traumatic injuries and hematomas on the head and face (shocks by blunt objects,...), gripping injuries on the arms, traces of strangulation".
