The Prime Minister's Office announced Thursday evening that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone this evening with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the military and intelligence cooperation between Israel and the United States, which he said is at an all-time high.
The initiator of the conversation was the American side, apparently due to Blinken's non-arrival in Israel, even though he is in the region. Blinken has been in Saudi Arabia for the past two days but has decided not to come to Israel.

The two spoke extensively about Iran. Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated his consistent position that a return to the nuclear agreement with Iran will not stop Iran's nuclear program and no agreement with Iran will obligate Israel to do everything possible to defend itself.
