In response to the murder in the village of Yafia, opposition leader Yair Lapid tweeted: "The number of criminal fatalities in Arab society is growing at a horrifying rate. Participates in the grief of the families of the murdered in the village of Yafia. The prime minister must himself head the team combating violence in Arab society, as I did during my tenure, and not leave the issue to Ben-Gvir, the worst failed minister the police have ever known. It is inconceivable that in just a few months the number of murdered has risen by 300% because of an ongoing government failure."
