"Help, he's murdering me!": The Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment Thursday morning in the Central District Court against Moshe Perry, 52, from Rishon LeZion, for murdering Riley Perry, his ex-wife, on her birthday.
The indictment filed by attorney Dudi Inbar indicates that Moshe and Rili divorced in 2018 and lived separately as of 2021, while Rili lived in Rishon LeZion with their adult son. For several months before the murder, Moses would follow Riley to make sure she wasn't in contact with other men and would call her, even at night, sometimes from different phones, cursing her for supposedly seeing other men. In addition, Moshe used to connect to the security cameras of the building where she lived, without her knowledge.

Last May, Moshe obtained a key to Riley's apartment, without her consent and in an unknown manner. In the early morning hours of May 12, Riley's birthday, Moshe decided to kill her because he suspected she was having relationships with other men and believed that she was preventing him from meeting his grandchildren and children. Then Moshe came to Riley's apartment, entered with his key and left the door open with the key inside. By that time, Riley was awake and her adult son was asleep in his room.
Moshe approached Riley, holding a screwdriver he had equipped with in advance, and began stabbing her 16 times all over her body. Bruised and bleeding, she began to scream and scream, went out onto the balcony of the apartment and shouted: "Help, he's murdering me!" and when she returned to the apartment, Moshe knocked her to the kitchen floor, and began to strangle her hard. At this point, their son woke up, saw Moshe strangle Riley and began kicking him to prevent her from carrying out his scheme, while shouting at Riley to call the police.

As the son held him, Moshe shouted in Riley's direction: "That's what happens when they don't let me see the grandchildren." Riley got up, left the apartment, and a few meters later collapsed in the hallway of the stairwell leading to the apartment. Their son ran towards her and began performing CPR on her, while Moshe cleaned the screwdriver, threw it under the living room couch, took his key out of the door, threw it near Riley and stood watching his son perform CPR.
The indictment attributes to Moshe offenses of aggravated murder and invasion of privacy. In addition, a request was filed for detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
