Holiday will be sunny - Up to 26 degrees on June 8

However, "structures suspicious of thunderstorms" in particular cannot be seen on the forecast maps, Ochs continued. It is possible that everything takes place within the framework of normal summer heat thunderstorms. First, however, it will be summery warm on Thursday. The thermometer climbs to 26 degrees.

From Friday to Sunday, the influence of high pressure will predominate in Franconia. Weather expert Ochs forecasts maximum temperatures between 27 and 29 degrees, isolated heat thunderstorms are possible.

Weather: Cold air drops on the way - clouds, lower temperatures, but no rain

"The next week, a drop of cold air will reach us from the east. Specifically, in this case, this is a cold air area that has detached itself from the polar cold air mass at the North Cape," reports Ochs. This results in cloud fields and a drop in temperature to 23 degrees. Due to the low water vapor content, however, no significant rainfall is to be expected.

For agriculture, however, rain would be desirable. According to Ochs, small maize plants are already showing the first signs of drought damage. (came)
