The famous caramelized apple pie was invented by the Tatin sisters in the 19th century, in their hotel-restaurant in Lamotte Beuvron. Taken over and renovated over time by several families, this one is still a gourmet stop, whose 16 rooms have been decorated in tribute to the Sologne fauna and flora. The blue and white earthenware stove of the Tatin sisters has been carefully preserved and the restaurant continues to serve this iconic cake, for dessert after a gourmet menu or in the afternoon at the charming tea room.
