The sweetest: The Conticini Terrace × Cagnes
The terrace. Welcome to a postcard Paris. It is on this former royal square hidden on the Ile de la Cité that the two star pastry chefs Philippe Conticini and his younger brother Jeffrey Cagnes opened Du geste à l'émotion, their workshop for master classes. An outdoor space of 30 seats like a tea room has just been installed with comfortable white garden furniture, in the shade of chestnut trees. Difficult booking and service still running.

The plate. Mainly sweet, around the signature pastries of the two chefs - grand cru vanilla entremets all in delicacy or minute millefeuille for Conticini; well-balanced lemon pie or raspberry for Cagnes -, the offer in continuous service expands on weekends with honest sandwiches (hallot bread, pastrami, cabbage, avocado) and croques (ham, county, béchamel). Opportune for a chic snack or lunch on the go.
