The girl's mother had filed a complaint on Tuesday, May 30. The assaulted schoolgirl had in the wake been identified and contacted by the investigators of the juvenile brigade of Tourcoing.

In a press release cited by France 3, the rectorate of the academy of Lille evoked an altercation originating from a conflict between college girls before the spring holidays.
