Tourists violate the pink beach, forbidden baths in Budelli

They swam undisturbed in the waters protected by environmental constraints near the pink beach of Budelli in the archipelago of La Maddalena. Some even got off the boats and, regardless of the prohibitions, walked and ran on the shoreline that should remain inviolate. Some with the sailboat arrived near the rocks, others, with rubber dinghies, to the beach. The summer of cafoni in La Maddalena has already begun and, even if the controls by the Port Authority started from April, with the arrival of good weather, guarding all seven islands of the archipelago plus the very extensive coast, is proving to be a more complicated undertaking than usual, especially given the wave of tourists that has been invading Sardinia for weeks.
Every day are spotted and immediately photographers and reported, dozens of vacationers to whom the ban on access, transit, bathing and parking on the pink beach, protected since 1992, does not matter anything.
From next week the ticketing and guide service prepared by the Maddalena National Park Authority.
"Last year we started on July 10, but this year we will start from next week - explains the director of the Park Authority, Giulio Plastina - these are two services that have been entrusted to companies with a three-year contract and that will be improved and implemented from year to year". The ticketing at sea provides for the presence of crews at sea with boats and trained personnel to give information about the rules and prohibitions, and issue the navigation permit to boaters who do not have it. "The Authority has an online portal to make reservations, on which you can pay with credit cards - adds Plastina - Those who arrive without having booked online can obtain authorization at sea, increased by 40%". In addition, the crews will inform holidaymakers of what limits and prohibitions are present in the archipelago. The garrison will also start on the islands of Budelli, Spargi, Caprera, La Maddalena, and will continue until the end of October, including Cala Coticcio and Cala Brigantino, where you can access from the ground only accompanied.
