Penzberg - TSV Penzberg celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. Encouragingly, the number of members is increasing - there are already more than 1600.

TSV Penzberg will be 125 years old this year. This is duly celebrated. On 18 June, the day it was founded in 1898, the outdoor fun park with 13 stations will start at 33 p.m. on the Berghalde. – for young and old, young and old. The event was the subject of the annual meeting.
At the Annual General Meeting, Chairwoman Michaela Schott presented the program. The almost 50 members present in the town hall were also able to watch the new image film that the association has published instead of a commemorative publication on the occasion of the 125th anniversary. All departments and the many offers are presented. Looking back on 2022, Schott had almost nothing but positive things to report. After Corona, the sports program is back in full swing. 94 instructors, 32 of them with a license, held 8061 training hours. At the end of the year, 1556 members were listed in the TSV, in May it had already reached 1615.

Disappointed with the city

Of course, the increasing numbers are a problem in many departments with regard to the insufficient hall times. Some waiting lists have to be kept, which is especially bitter for competitive athletes. Although the gym at Josef-Boos-Platz is available again for practice, the hours in the replacement halls are no longer available. The chairwoman is very disappointed with the city of Penzberg in some respects and has the feeling that she is not properly appreciated. For example, in the triple hall, times are allocated in halls 1 and 3, although other combinations could be used much better, because gymnastics in particular needs a larger space for the equipment.
Treasurer Tanja Schabert had to announce a small minus amount of about 2022 euros in the cash register compared to the plan for 2700, but the assets of the association have not melted in any way. Only the costs for the trainers were higher than planned due to the many hours worked.

Schott and Hammerla: Leadership confirmed:

There was only one change in the elections for the new club management, because Hubert Schuldlos said goodbye to his position as head of the volleyball department after twelve years. He reviewed the successful years of his work and was duly bid farewell. In Erwin Schott, an already proven employee was found as his successor for the volleyball position. Michaela Schott and Dieter Hammerla were confirmed as 1st chairmen and 2nd chairmen respectively. Tanja Schabert as treasurer, Moritz Edelfurtner (badminton), Nicola Dill (basketball), Scharaf Girges (popular sports), Melanie Jäger (athletics), Karin Sonnenstuhl (senior sports), Werner Demuth (table tennis) and Angela Birck (gymnastics) were each unanimously elected. The auditors Herbert Weglehner and Ralf Bollhagen will also continue to be available.
