The last seasons of the format have proven that the contestants in the competition are not exactly cuddly. Nevertheless, eight couples have once again decided to take on the show's challenges in 2023. One of them is the former "Cologne 50667" actress Pia Tillmann (35), who apparently suffered mightily during the reality adventure.

A few days ago, filming for this year's "Summer House of the Stars" season was finished. The "Cologne 50667" couple Pia Tillmann and Zico Banach (32) have also returned to reality. Pia is not yet allowed to reveal so much about what happened in her Instagram story, but the time in the TV holiday home has apparently had a strong impact on her: "I can only tell you one thing: I don't know when was the last time I cried so much in my life. And not only because I was sad, but also because of other emotions. So, it was awesome! If you see it on the air, 'I'm the one with the handkerchief,'" she hints at dramatic scenes.
The "Summer House of the Stars" is the first reality show for Pia Tillmann. Her boyfriend Zico Banach had a little more experience thanks to his time on "The Bachelorette" and tried to prepare his sweetheart in advance for the upcoming roller coaster of emotions – unfortunately without success. "You can't prepare for people, even if you've seen formats in which they have taken place. It's different to live with these people under the same roof and to be confronted with them 24/7," says the 35-year-old, describing her impressions.

In addition to Pia Tillmann and partner Zico Banach and pop star Tim Toupet and girlfriend Carina, these other six celebrity couples can be seen at the Sommerhaus 2023 on RTL:
Entrepreneur Claudia Obert (61) and her partner Max Suhr (24) as well as reality couple Aleksandar "Aleks" Petrovic (32) and Vanessa Nwattu (23). The latter were part of "Temptation Island V.I.P." in 2022. Aleks took part in the show with his then-girlfriend Christina Dimitriou, but seductress Vanessa turned Aleks' head. Result: They left the show together as a new couple.
Also present: Jungle King ex-wife Justine Dippl and Arben Zekic, ex-"GZSZ" actor and jungle camp star Eric Stehfest (33) and his wife Edith (28), reality actors Maurice Dziwak (23) and Ricarda "Ricky" Raatz (29) as well as "Celebrity Big Brother" candidate Valentina Doronina (23) and Can Kaplan.
Will the new "Summer House of the Stars" season be as exciting as in recent years?
In fact, the "Summer House of the Stars" opponents have clashed violently in recent seasons. From spitting attacks to bullying allegations to relationship stress, the viewer was offered all sorts of things. According to Pia Tillmann, 2023 will continue to be just as turbulent: "You will definitely be able to look forward to an exciting and entertaining season. With some things that have escalated," promises the reality TV newcomer.
