Increase the international reputation of the Ecole nationale d'aviation civile (ENAC) based in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and raise capital to finance its projects. This is the ambition of the ENAC Foundation, created on June 1st and already financially supported by the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus and the operator Aéroports de Paris (ADP).
This structure aims to strengthen the school's links with the socio-economic world and promote its model and values, in France and internationally, through five development axes: International, Research & Teaching, Diversity, Ecological Transition and Campus Life.
Scholarships for 400 students already
ENAC already has the experience to convince industrialists to work with its students and support its projects since it has already collected 10 million euros over the last ten years via its endowment fund, launched in 2012, from fifteen companies such as ATR and Capgemini. Nearly 1.4 million euros had been awarded to more than 400 students as part of international scholarships to support them in their studies or during an internship abroad.

"This endowment fund has made it possible to retain many companies, but with the Foundation, we want to go further and be more ambitious," says Jean-Noël Laval, Director of the ENAC Foundation. The presence of Airbus and ADP at our side reinforces their financial commitment and ensures that we can carry out projects such as training abroad and solidarity initiatives. This makes the school shine internationally to attract new students, especially from countries such as India or Southeast Asia. The idea is also to double the number of students supported by this system."
The ENAC Foundation aims to raise ten million euros within five years from companies and individuals.
