Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are back to parenthood and diapering; and now it's the turn of Bill Murray, who at 72 years old seems to have found love again with someone totally unexpected: singer Kelis, 43.
According to the US edition of The Sun newspaper, the Oscar-nominated actor for Lost in Tokyo would be starting a romance with Kelis, the interpreter of the famous song Milkshake, of whom he would have been totally captivated after seeing her at a concert in London recently.
Bill Murray went to see Kelis shows in England and the United States.
I'm your fan
After that show, Bill Murray would have continued to attend other of his shows, both in the United Kingdom and in the United States.
An interest that would have grown with the passage of time -and music-, and that would have led to finally meet after one of those concerts on the other side of the pond. According to a source consulted by the aforementioned newspaper, both artists met in the United States and their connection was so evident that the first rumors began to emerge. "Now that they've met in London, it's obvious," he says.
Obviously, the news has left the followers of both artists quite confused, because nobody expected that two characters so disparate were going to connect; much less that they were going to start any kind of relationship. The reactions, obviously in meme format, are priceless.
More things in common than meets the eye
Kelis became known worldwide for her song "Milkshake".
The unexpected couple was not part of anyone's pool, but it seems that they would have more things in common than it might initially seem. Both have suffered the losses of their husbands prematurely, from which they are still recovering, so they would have used each other as support. In addition, there is his passion for music and cooking.

Kelis has previously been married to rapper Nas, in a relationship so tumultuous that it occupied much of the American heartland press over allegations of infidelity and mistreatment.
Her second husband, photographer Mike Mora, passed away from stomach cancer in March 2022 at age 37, prompting Kelis to withdraw from public life for a time to grieve. The singer also has three children: Shepherd (8) and Galilee (2), the result of her marriage to Mora; and Knight (13), from his relationship with Nas.
Bill Murray, meanwhile, has also been married twice. First, with Margaret Kelly, from 1981 to 1996, with whom he had two sons, Homer (41) and Luke (38); then with designer Jennifer Butler, from 1997 to 2008, a relationship from which four children were born: Caleb (30), Jackson (27), Cooper (26) and Lincoln (22).
Butler, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at age 57 in 2021.
