Roland Kaiser is currently on an open-air tour. Now customs also paid a visit to the pop star and actually found what they were looking for.
Kamenz - Shortly before a concert by Roland Kaiser (71), there were disturbing scenes. Just as the entrance for the show of the pop star started, 20 officials and inspectors from the main customs office in Dresden came to take a close look at the event.
Officials searched the venue and security of Roland Kaiser's show
On stage, Roland Kaiser made headlines because he sang the controversial song line with the word "Mohrenkopf". In the run-up to the event, however, something unusual happened: More than 100 employees were checked - including security and employees in the catering sector.
Spokeswoman Heike Wilsdorf from the main customs office in Dresden told bild.de that the officers actually found what they were looking for during their work at the Roland Kaiser concert: "We discovered non-registrations for social security and a violation of immigration regulations. There was also a breach of the respondents' duty to cooperate in collecting the required information." Whoever is on stage did not play a role in the control. It was a "measure without suspicion".
More than just a pop star: Roland Kaiser was also on the road as an actor
In addition to his successes in the music business, Roland Kaiser has already made several excursions into the TV business. In 2012 he was seen in the "Tatort" episode "Summ, Summ, Summ" from Münster and played the pop star Roman König. Together with Axel Prahl, he was also in front of the camera for the ARD tragicomedy "Eisland". The world premiere of the film will take place in the summer of 2021 as part of the Munich Film Festival.
Organizer reassures the fans: Roland Kaiser and his crew are innocent
The organizer Semmel Concerts also commented on the incident on Instagram to emphasize: "There were demonstrably and confirmed by the customs office no customs complaints against employees of Roland Kaiser production." The violations had referred "exclusively to the catering staff of the venue", over which the pop star would have had no influence.
