Eintracht Braunschweig has parted ways with coach Michael Schiele just two weeks after the end of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga. "We have sorted out the individual facts and have come to the conclusion that further development through new impulses and changes is necessary," sports managing director Peter Vollmann was quoted as saying in a statement on Friday.
Braunschweig - The decision comes as a bit of a surprise. Schiele had taken over the team after the second division relegation two years ago. The 45-year-old managed to get promoted immediately and stay in the league last season. Schiele still had a contract until June 2025. dpa
