Due to renovation work, the main road between Miesbach and Irschenberg will be closed from Monday. Road users have to put up with detours.
Miesbach – The B472 federal highway between Miesbach and the Gasteigbach Bridge in the Riedgasteig district of Irschenberg will be completely closed from Monday, June 12, until Friday, July 7. This was announced by the Rosenheim State Building Authority and explained that motorists would be diverted via state roads 2077 and 2010 (Leitzach) during this time.
Heavy traffic congestion has left its mark
The background to the closure is the heavy traffic congestion, which has "left traces" on the B307. Now a renovation is pending, in which milling work will first be carried out. "A total of ten centimeters of the existing asphalt layers have to be removed because of the existing damage," explains the State Building Authority. In addition, the drainage will be repaired and later the asphalt binder layer and the asphalt surface course will be restored. "After the completion of the protective equipment, the delineators and the marking work, the main road can be reopened to traffic." If everything goes according to plan, this should take place on Friday, July 7.
Trucks will be diverted via motorway, motorists via Leitzach
While motorists from Miesbach via Parsberg, Leitzach and Ahrain to Jedling and on to Irschenberg, trucks should take the Weyarn exit on the A8 and drive on the state road 2073 via Thalham to Miesbach, the building authority announced.
At the roundabout near the Hagebaumarkt in Miesbach, only minor work is necessary. "These are carried out at night." Depending on the weather, the night from Thursday, June 15, to Friday, June 16, is planned. There, traffic will be diverted "on a small scale through Miesbach". The State Building Authority asks road users for their understanding of the possible traffic obstructions.
