After the attack on a mourning community in Altbach (district of Esslingen), the police assume two suspicious men. One of them threw a previously unknown object at the mourners on Friday afternoon, which exploded, as a police spokesman told dpa on site. Five to seven people were injured in the explosion.
Altbach - According to security circles, it is a matter of burn and shrapnel injuries. Another police spokesman said it was still unclear what kind of object it was – whether it was a standard firecracker or a homemade explosive device.
The mourners had pursued the two men after the firecracker, caught one of them and beat up, said the spokesman on the spot. A helicopter took him seriously injured to a clinic. The man who is said to have thrown the firecracker escaped and continued to flee. The mood was very aggressive when the police arrived, the spokesman said. Dpa
