Serious accident on the B472: Three injured and federal highway closed

Sindelsdorf - Serious accident on Thursday (8 June) on the B472 near Sindelsdorf. Three injured people were taken to the UKM. The main road was closed for an hour.

The accident occurred on Thursday (8 June) at around 12.10 p.m. on the B472 near Urthaler Hof. According to police, a 67-year-old man from Munich drove with his companion in his Opel Meriva from Bichl in the direction of Sindelsdorf. When he wanted to turn left to the Urthaler Hof, according to the police, the Munich overlooked the Opel Zafira, which had the right of way, driven by a 57-year-old Munich woman, who was coming towards him. The 57-year-old was unable to brake in time. The two vehicles collided. All persons were slightly injured by the collision and were taken by ambulance to the Murnau Trauma Clinic for examination.
The B472 had to be closed for an hour. The Sindelsdorf and Penzberg fire brigades were on site with 25 people. Both vehicles were no longer roadworthy and were towed. The property damage is estimated by the police at around 5000 euros.
