There is a disturbing version among businessmen: that Sergio Massa suggested that he will resign as minister in case Alberto insists on imposing multiple candidates to settle in the PASO. Massa is tenaciously opposed to that project and maintains that it would be "suicide" for governability.

Massa told Alberto as soon as he arrived from China: "This proposal will atomize political power and have a full impact on stability." The issue burned in a telephone conversation. They said everything to each other. And he continued to calm down in Wednesday's secretive meeting between the president and the minister. Massa tried to "irresponsible" Daniel Scioli and Santiago Cafiero.

A gambit to aim directly at Alberto, the real father of the creature. The minister argued that the strategy can "pulverize" the last quota of power left to the Casa Rosada. And he warned: "With your proposal we are fourth and after the PASO the dollar does not hold and goes to the moon ...". The minister insisted: "The power vacuum will make Argentina ungovernable until December."

Alberto was uncompromising. He didn't slacken. He insisted on settling candidacies in the internal and challenged his archenemy: "Cristina has no candidates."

Alberto was hot. He reproached Massa for the governors' statement. "This is a low blow," he bellowed. Massa replied with insults. He argues that while he works, the President is engaged in internment.

That is why the versions emerged among bankers who assure that if there is no single candidate, Massa would not find sense in his continuity in the Economy.

The meeting lasted 90 minutes. Alberto ran out of cocktail at the Casa Rosada. Massa was late for the celebration of the Day of the Journalist in Economics.

His face said it all. He was upset. He decided to unload with his intimates. "I told Alberto that this is his government. Stability and political order is their responsibility and not mine." Alberto also spoke to his own and repeated his curses on Cristina. Santiago Cafiero insists that "Massa is not leaving, he is a prisoner of his position" and Gabriela Cerruti, stinging, said that he becomes the victim, because he wants to be a candidate.

But the version of an eventual departure of Massa was at the highest level of the "red circle" and in the main business centers, such as the UIA and the AEA. Several bankers and oil workers - between Tuesday and Thursday - decided to communicate directly with the minister. Massa responds with evasiveness and uses "emojis". But then be honest.

It happened in a confidential chat with a big oil boss. The CEO asked him uneasily: "Sergio, there are versions that you resign on 25/6 if there are two candidates in the internal." Massa responded with a virtual laugh and punched back in bold: "I'm a responsible guy."

Then he added in the text: "I trust that the governors and mayors will impose good sense on Alberto's self-suicidal whim."

Alberto wants to give Cristina a coup de grace. He repeats it in Olivos: "I who believe it, I'm going to put an end to 20 years of Kirchnerism."

Alberto had the information that Massa went to the Casa Rosada after talking to Cristina. The vice president and the minister met alone on Tuesday. Communication between them is constant. There were serious derogatory qualifiers towards Alberto by Cristina: "traitor" and "useless" were the mildest.

At that meeting there was talk of forming a new electoral front and emptying the president of content. Several names will be lowered: Renewal Unit, or refloat Citizen Unity and even the Victory Front. Alberto is convinced that Cristina's candidate will ultimately be Axel Kicillof. Everything is defined in a dozen days.

The IMF's demands

First there is the question of the IMF. The negotiation was delayed, because Luis Cubeddu again toughened the demands of the staff in Washington. Bureaucrats insist on "covering up." They are calling for more action. Now, IMF technicians want to transfer less money. They offer $7 billion, instead of $000.10 billion. In other words: they do not want to bring forward the December quota. Leo Madcur punched back: "I'm rotten from having my bow run."

Cubeddu argues: "We negotiated that with a new government." There would also be intervention in the foreign exchange market. But subject to a "band of gaps". The "band" establishes a maximum gap ceiling and a minimum ceiling. It sells when it touches the maximum.

The debate over the "exchange rate jump" continues. Although a shortcut would be sought: many imports will stop being liquidated to the official dollar and the financial dollar will be used. A luck -without announcement- of greater unfolding. On Wall Street they have the information that there is going to be a "political agreement" and that help will appear. A sort of "pulmotor" with limited oxygen.

The PRO fight

Everyone – at the IMF too – is watching politics. The furious fight in the PRO altered the business world. This is a central issue. In truth, what is at stake – nothing less – isthe fight for control and leadership of the PRO. Horacio Rodríguez Larreta challenged Mauricio Macri. He wants to build his own leadership and consolidate the candidacy without his protective umbrella.

Mauricio does not accept this and intends to keep his power of influence intact. The relationship of both had been bad for a long time and now exploded in public. Macri does not accept Larreta's uprising. The Head of Government is annoyed by Macri's continuous public and political "nonsense": the rudeness in Patagonia, the imposition of Jorge Macri by the media and the intention that he obey his suggestions.

The story comes from drag, since when Mauricio promoted the candidacy of Larreta to Head of Government in 2015. On the eve of that election with Gabriela Michetti, Macri received a final poll that gave Larreta a 10-point lead. It was the Friday before the election. The then Head of Government commented in private: "This will confirm that a robot can win an election." They were moments of eternal fidelity and shared jokes. Now Larreta doesn't want anything to do with Mauricio: he pretends that – like the former US presidents – he wants to do anything with Mauricio. He is dedicated to giving talks and leading missions abroad.

But Mauricio looks strong and is going to play against Larreta. He has decided to support Patricia and encourage dialogue with Javier Milei. Now another round is coming. Larreta continues in the preparation of an agreement with Juan Schiaretti. The paper is already written and would be ready to communicate this weekend. This Friday the moment would be defined, but surely it will be before the election in Córdoba they will wet Macri's ear again.

The final wording was left in the hands of Diego Bossio and Martín Redrado: it talks about the independence of the BCRA, the prohibition of financing the Treasury and how to transform social plans into work. Also of the institutional quality. Exactly what Cristina doesn't do.

Vanesa Siley wants to restart the offensive against the Court on Tuesday. By order of Wado De Pedro, the deputy refloated an old and judged subject of the Social Work denounced by a rubber stamp of La Cámpora. This is the non-existent SITRAJU guild. But the answer will be blunt: Juan Maqueda decided not to lend himself to the show of Kirchnerism and will not attend the Impeachment Commission.
