Brian Inhiter, creative director of Spider-Man 2, took the stage, providing new details and a promise that the game would not be postponed. We got a glimpse of the game's cover and concept art image featuring Venom's character, and to the surprise of many, it won't be Eddie Brock beneath the symbiote.
Inhiter claims that AInsomniac wanted to give a unique twist to the familiar character, one that would sit with the game world they built back in the previous game. Pre-orders for the game open next week on June 16. The standard game version will cost about $70, the deluxe digital version will cost about $80, and the collector's version will cost about $230.
