Jetting quickly from Eichenau to Olching and letting the wind blow around your nose: This is possible in the senior rickshaw.
Olching – It is controlled by Horst Schuller. It is financed by the Sighart Fund for Senior Citizens of the Community Foundation. This has already been used to raise the money for the first "Amper-Rickshaw" in Fürstenfeldbruck. Since, according to the community foundation, this was a complete success, a second project has now started in the eastern district. The second amper rickshaw was put into operation at the Laurentiushaus retirement and nursing home in Olching.
(
By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB Newsletter.)
When project manager Horst Schuller drove up to the home, a small group of seniors quickly formed who wanted to take a test drive and came back enthusiastically from their tour to the Amper. The rickshaw will be stationed in the Laurentiushaus and will travel from there for the retirement homes in Olching, Eichenau and probably Gröbenzell.
With the amper rickshaw, the community foundation wants to enable residents of retirement homes to make excursions into the surrounding area and participate in social life. Volunteer drivers are still being sought for the tours in Olching, Eichenau and Gröbenzell. done
