Unknown assailants entered a house in Jaljulia on Saturday evening and shot and killed Ashraf Kharoub, 40, who was initially critically wounded. Two women, aged 40 and 30, sustained moderate and minor injuries. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene gave the wounded medical treatment and evacuated them to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, where Kharov was pronounced dead. The police opened an investigation.
MDA paramedic Giris Elias said: "When we arrived at the scene we saw 3 injured people, including a 40-year-old man unconscious with no pulse and no breathing, we immediately began performing advanced resuscitation on him, including medication, ventilation and massages. We put him in the intensive care unit and rushed him to Meir Hospital in critical condition. In addition, there were two other wounded people at the scene with bruises on their bodies, including a 2-year-old woman in moderate condition and a 40-year-old man in light condition, we treated them in the field and quickly evacuated them to Meir Hospital as well."
