A 25-year-old woman was killed in a fatal car accident that occurred Saturday evening between two vehicles on Highway 1 near the Shoresh interchange westbound. A 30-year-old man was evacuated in serious condition and another 25-year-old man was evacuated in fair condition.
Paramedics and paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced the young woman dead, provided medical treatment to the two injured men and evacuated them to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Multiple police forces are at the scene of the accident investigating its circumstances.
Following the accident, 2 travel lanes were blocked, and drivers are asked to drive cautiously and obey the instructions of the police officers at the scene.
MDA emergency medic Roi Ben-Shoham said: "We saw a completely squashed private vehicle with a 25-year-old woman sitting unconscious inside, she was breathless and not pulsed with severe multi-system trauma, we performed medical tests and within a short time we had to pronounce her dead. A 35-year-old man was rescued from the vehicle while fully conscious with head and limb injuries. After quick treatment on the ground, we evacuated him to the hospital in moderate and stable condition, from the second vehicle a 30-year-old man was rescued conscious with head and limb injuries, we gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in serious and stable condition."
