In Tutzing, a new association, the Veranstaltungsverein, has taken over the organization of the popular wine festival on the lake. This Saturday, he faces his baptism of fire.
Tutzing – When the Tutzing Wine Festival is celebrated this Saturday, June 10, there will be a new association behind it: the Veranstaltungsverein Tutzing e.V., which was founded in mid-April. "Increasingly elaborate planning and higher requirements for the popular wine festival on the lake had increasingly presented JM Tutzing with challenges, which they now want to tackle together with the new association. Already this year, the wine festival will be organized by the event association, but of course in close cooperation with the JM Tutzing, some of whose members are also active in the new association," the board announced.
The first chairman is Ludwig Horn, who in recent years was jointly responsible for the organization of the festival even after his time as chairman of the JM. While Tobias Wegl takes over the position of deputy chairman, Carola Biller acts as secretary and Lorenz Lang as treasurer. Detailed tasks relating to the wine festival are divided into departments such as drinks, food or even set-up and logistics. The board relies on young and experienced members in equal measure: "It is important to us that we can pass on our experience of the past years to new members," says Horn. The central idea of the new association is to involve interested helpers outside the JM in the organization of the wine festival. Ludwig Horn: "However, due to the positive response and popularity, we are pleased when interested Tutzing residents support the existing team."
This Saturday, the new club has to prove itself. Then, from 14 p.m., the wine festival will take place on the Brahms Promenade. In the afternoon, in addition to wines, there will also be coffee and cake, and from 14.30 p.m. the "Würmsee Böhmischen" will play. In the evening, the band "Deschawü" provides dance and party music. There is also something for the children: Like last year, a bouncy castle is to be set up, the children's playground is right next to it.
