Week 23:Crowds are expected to visit the many protest sites across the country this evening (Saturday) when the main protest takes place in Kaplan Tel Aviv. Among the speakers at the main rally: Guy Rolnik, one of the founders of The Marker, Eyal Naveh, one of the leaders of Brothers in Arms, Einat Gaz, CEO of Papaya Global, and Shikma Bressler, one of the prominent protest leaders.

The list of speakers will also be joined this evening by Dr. Thabet Abu Ras, co-director of the Abraham Initiatives, who will open the demonstration by addressing the government's inability to eradicate murder, violence and crime in Arab society.

A few weeks later: Anti-reform demonstrators blocked Ayalon

One of the protest organizers said: "We face a clear and present danger. If the government carries out a hostile takeover of the Judicial Selection Committee, it will be surprised by the intensity of the response. Only a determined and uncompromising struggle will prevent the appointment of judicial judges and stop the government from promoting dictatorship. We must come out on Saturday night and resist."

The weekly march in Tel Aviv will leave Dizengoff Square at 19:00. Other central locations: Haifa, Jerusalem, Karkur Junction, Ashdod and Be'er Sheva.

At 18:30, the weekly march in Haifa will leave the auditorium for the Horev Center, where the demonstration will begin at 19:30. Among the speakers: Ehud Barak, Israel Prize Laureate Prof. Avishai Braverman and Dr. Orna Berry. One of the organizers of the protest in Haifa said: "These are critical days for the future of the country, leading leaders are warning against the dictatorship. Today everyone comes to Haifa."

Map of Blocks

As of 17:30, the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic in Tel Aviv:

Kaplan Street will be blocked from Ibn Gvirol Street to Menachem Begin Road in both directions.

Kaplan Junction and Menachem Begin Road will be blocked to the north and south (including the sediments).

The Peace Bridge ramps will be blocked to the north and south (it will not be possible to descend to Route 20).

The Yigal Alon/Shalom junction will be blocked to the west and south.

The Yigal Alon / Made in Israel junction will be blocked (vehicles will be diverted to Made in Israel Street).

The Shalom/Made in Israel junction will be blocked (traffic will be directed east).

The Peace/Youth Aliyah junction will be blocked to the east.

The Yigal Alon/Tuval junction will be blocked to the north.

The Yitzhak Sadeh / locksmith junction will be blocked to the north.

Exit from Ben Avigdor Street to Hamasger Street will not be allowed. The streets of Migal Alon in the direction of Aminadav, Kremnicki, Tuval, Vicky Shiran and the exit from the gas station will be blocked (traffic will be allowed from HaSolelim Street). Due to the expected closures, there may be large traffic congestion throughout the province.
