There are now two additional Wi-Fi hotspots in the Geretsried city area. You can use the connection without a password or username.
Geretsried – In more and more public places, the people of Geretsried are no longer dependent on mobile communications for an Internet connection. As the city reports in a press release, additional free Wi-Fi hotspots have been installed at the Johannisplatz and Stein neighbourhood meetings. In addition, there are the existing Wi-Fi networks at the town hall, at the building yard, at the municipal facilities on Elbestraße and PulsG, at the Geretsrieder Ratsstuben, the city library and the adult education center, the two elementary and middle schools, at the youth center Saftladen and the youth club Ein-Stein as well as the senior day care center.

But that's not all: "In the medium term, other well-frequented places and facilities in our city are to be supplied with open Wi-Fi," Second Mayor Sonja Frank is quoted as saying in the press release. Some networks are strongest indoors. As a rule, however, a connection is also possible in front of the buildings. Users dial into the "GER – Open Wi-Fi" network with a Wi-Fi-enabled device without a username or password.
