El chino Steve Zhang, presidente del Inter Milán, aseguró este viernes que su equipo no le tiene miedo al Manchester City, contra el que peleará este sábado por ganar la Liga de Campeones, porque rinde "contra los equipos fuertes".
"Respeto profundamente al City, es un equipo magnífico. Pero tenemos calidad para plantarles cara. En los últimos años, cuanto más alto se ha puesto el listón para nuestros rivales, mejor hemos rendido. El Inter rinde contra los equipos fuertes", declaró el mandatario en una entrevista con 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.
Es la primera final de Liga de Campeones de Zhang, el presidente más joven de la historia del Inter, que llegó a Milán en 2018 con 26 años y ha devuelto al club a lo más alto trece años después de su último éxito europeo, la 'Champions' de 2010 que completó el triplete italiano.
"He pensado muchas veces cómo sería ganar una Liga de Campeones. Pero incluso soñar con ganarla me parecía imposible... Ahora que estamos en la final, sin embargo, todos en el club tenemos unas ganas increíbles de intentarlo. Como dijo Inzaghi (entrenador): no tenemos miedo, solo ganas de jugar este partido", comentó.

El delantero del Inter de Milán, de 25 años, afirmó este viernes que las sensaciones y las ganas de vencer son las mismas.
"Cambia poco, solo cambia la camiseta. Las sensaciones son parecidas, únicas, porque sabes que has llegado al final, gracias al gran esfuerzo y al trabajo del año y del equipo. Eso es lo importante. Es la última etapa y tenemos que dar ese paso para hacer un buen partido por los aficionados y el club", afirmó Lautaro Martínez.
