Lotto on Saturday: What is the jackpot on June 10?
In the draw of 6 out of 49 on Saturday, 10.06.2023, there are around eight million euros to be won. Normally, of course, only those who have guessed the six correct numbers and the matching super number will receive the winning amount.
But whoever hits this jackpot has pretty much taken care of and can put the dismissal on the boss's desk tomorrow. Theoretically, anyway. A survey by Marktagent.com (from the 4th quarter of 2016 on behalf of Xing) showed that only a few Germans would quit if they won a large sum of money in the lottery. In their opinion, only 18 percent (i.e. not even one in five) would stop working if they suddenly became rich.

Obviously, a fifth (20 percent) of all Germans enjoy their work so much that they would continue to work exactly as before even if they won the lottery. The remaining respondents would reduce their number of hours or look for a new job.

The odds of winning one of the most popular games of chance in Germany vary depending on the type of game. Whoever guesses all the numbers correctly wins the lottery jackpot, i.e. eight million euros. The probability of 6 correct numbers plus the super number is 1 in 139,838,160 million.

Anyone who thinks that pure luck decides whether to win or lose in the lottery is wrong. If you take a look at the statistics, you will notice that some numbers are drawn less frequently than others.

The lottery numbers are drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you want to take part in the lucky lottery, you must have submitted your ticket by 19 p.m. for the Saturday draw on the same day and by 18 p.m. for the Wednesday draw. But beware: In some federal states, the deadline ends earlier. The winning numbers are drawn on Saturdays from 19:25 p.m. and Wednesdays from 18:25 p.m. – the draw can be followed via livestream on lotto.de. There has not been a drawing of the lottery numbers live on television for a long time. On TV, however, the winning numbers will be presented on ARD at 19:55 p.m.
