Video: Four suspects detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Bayan Abbas in Kafr Kana (Israel Police spokesman's unit)
A 28-year-old Qalansawe resident was shot dead Saturday evening in the city. The young man, Khathek Kashkush, was critically wounded by gunfire and evacuated to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, where he was pronounced dead. The shooter fled the scene. According to the Abraham Initiatives, Kashkush is the 101st person murdered in Arab society in six months. 89 of the victims were shot to death.
Taybeh police were called to the scene and began searching for the perpetrators. This is in addition to the collection of documentation in the vicinity of the scene and forensic findings by forensic investigators. The background and circumstances of the murder are under investigation.

MDA paramedic Giris Elias was called to the scene along with the emergency team. "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a 20-year-old man unconscious with no pulse and no breathing with very severe penetrating injuries to his body," he said. "We immediately began giving him medical treatment that included massages, ventilation and stopping the bleeding, put him in the intensive care unit and quickly evacuated him to hospital while continuing CPR while his condition was defined as critical."
