Activists of the "Last Generation" sprayed a luxury yacht in the port of Ancora Marina. They are expected to stand trial for property damage and water contamination.
Neustadt in Holstein - On Tuesday morning (20 June), the Lübeck police moved out in the port of Ancora Marina. Activists of the "Last Generation" movement approached a luxury yacht both at sea and on land. Five activists sprayed the yacht with orange paint.
Water colored green and yacht boarded: activists refused medical treatment
Subsequently, the activists dumped a green substance into the water, as the Lübeck police department announced. The exact composition of the substance is currently being studied. After the action, six of the activists boarded the yacht and glued themselves to the railing. They also hung a banner from the yacht. Four other members of the movement filmed and documented the action from a small boat. The Lübeck Police Department speaks of this as a criminal offense.

In order to cope with the incident, both the water police and the Neustadt police station were deployed. In addition, an ambulance was provided on site. Around 12:30 p.m., the officers began to detach the people from the boat. For this purpose, the railing was also dismantled. The activists received medical care on land, with some of them refusing treatment. The personal details of a total of eight participants were established, two of whom were identified.

The activists now have to answer in a trial on suspicion of property damage, water contamination and trespassing. The police operation ended around 15:00 p.m.
