Nuremberg – During a protest action of the "Last Generation" on the B19 near Würzburg, 43 participants were arrested. From Würzburg to Nuremberg: Despite the fine, the next protest takes place

According to the "Last Generation", the protest on the B19 was an unannounced demonstration. Of the 43 arrested participants, seven were detained overnight in a police station in Würzburg. The seven people were released the following day.

The "Last Generation" announced that their next protest action will take place in Nuremberg on Thursday (17 August). Among the participants are said to be several activists who were arrested in Würzburg. In an official statement, the "Last Generation" emphasizes that the city of Nuremberg published a general decree, which is why participants in these protests must expect a fine of up to 3000 euros.

Leaders of such an assembly risk up to a year in prison. "It remains to be seen tomorrow whether the supporters of the 'Last Generation' will be dissuaded from their plans," the activist group's official statement reads.
