Now it's clear: The city of Ebersberg is getting its first wind turbine. After the one in Hamberg, it is likely to be the second to rotate in the district.
Ebersberg - The holiday committee of the Ebersberg city council created the legal basis for the Ebersberg wind turbine to be launched in the east of the city. The initiators of the project are seven local farmers and entrepreneurs.
Their community wind power plant is being built on a wooded hill between the districts of Pollmoos, Traxl and Englmeng. It has a hub height of 166.6 meters and a total height (including rotor) of 246.6 meters. Since the plant is located both outside the "wind power" partial land use plan adopted by the city and, above all, within the 1000-meter range, which has been permitted as an exception to the 2022 H regulation since November 10 under certain conditions, the city must amend the land use plan and approve the preparation of a project-related development plan for the designation or determination of a special area for a citizen wind turbine in order to implement the project. That is what the Holiday Committee did. He waved through the corresponding application of the Föhrenpolder.
City councillors speak of role model function
The vast majority of city councillors across the parliamentary groups ascribe a role model function to this first wind turbine in the city area, as Susanne Schmidberger (Greens) pointed out. Christoph Münch (SPD) said: "This is an important step on the way to the first wind turbine in Ebersberg."
One should only make sure that one erects a "technically quiet wind turbine" as far as possible, warned Gerd Otter ("Pro Ebersberg"), who otherwise also fully welcomes the development.
