A couple was caught having sex in an airplane bathroom during a flight from London to Ibiza, Spain. Upon reaching their destination, the lovers were escorted by the police.
The incident occurred on September 8 during an easyJet flight that left Luton airport, north of the English capital, and was recorded in a video now viral.
In the footage, which was not verified by Noticias Telemundo, a group of passengers can be seen laughing and encouraging a crew member to open the bathroom door at the rear of the aircraft. "Let's go!" they shouted.
The flight attendant pleased them and opened the door, leaving the half-naked couple in plain sight, consummating the sexual act.
The man, surprised with his pants down and standing behind the woman, smiles and closes the door. The passengers who witnessed the unusual spectacle explode in laughter, shouts and applause.

In a second video you can see how passengers celebrate the woman when she leaves the bathroom, while she raises her arms.
A spokesman for the airline told The Independent: "We can confirm that this flight from Luton to Ibiza on September 8 was met by police on arrival due to the behaviour of two passengers on board."

According to the English newspaper, while the United Kingdom does not have specific laws regulating sexual relations on commercial flights, it does constitute "an offence to intentionally engage in sexual activity in a public toilet", according to the Sexual Offences Act 2004.
It is unclear whether English or Spanish authorities took any action against the couple.
"It's not something a mother wants to see."
English media identified the man as Piers Sawyer, a young mechanic at an Audi dealership who was celebrating his 23rd birthday and who apparently met the woman he ended up with in the bathroom at the airport.

Sawyer's mother told The Sun newspaper she was "mortified" when she saw the video and learned it was her son who was in his pants down in the plane's bathroom.
"I was watching Loose Women (a British TV show) and they were talking about it there, and some of Piers' friends started sending me the video," said the woman, identified only by her first name: Elaine.
"It's not something a mother wants to see," she added.

Sawyer's mother, however, defended her son saying: "He's a 23-year-old single guy who is on his birthday and going to Ibiza. It's a party plane ... sometimes you just don't think about those things. Yes, it's embarrassing, but I don't think they were doing anyone any harm."
Elaine said her son "doesn't want to talk about it" and "probably just wants to forget it." In addition, he criticized the flight attendant for opening the bathroom door and exposing his son.
"The assistant shouldn't have just opened the door. The whole flight cheered him up and even he laughed," she said. "Everyone was having a good time at the airport and this happened."
