Canada believes there is "credible evidence" suggesting that India may be responsible for the assassination of a Sikh leader in western Canada last June, Justin Trudeau told Parliament on Monday, September 18.
The Canadian prime minister said in a last-minute address, after convening the opposition urgently, that there was "credible evidence that there is a possible link between agents of the government of India and the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen."
