A 37-year-old Moroccan man was found dead at the foot of the Castillon-la-Bataille bridge on Sunday. Three days after the macabre discovery in the Libourne, the suicide trail is dismissed by investigators: the body had on the left forearm "stinging and piercing wounds", similar to gashes that could have been made with a knife.
The Bordeaux prosecutor's office therefore requalified the investigation on Wednesday and decided to continue the investigations for murder alongside the Libourne public prosecutor's office. No suspects have been arrested at this stage of the investigation. The autopsy of the body of the victim, known to the services of justice, was underway this Thursday.
