Work as a source of happiness and not stress. This is the case for 6 out of 10 Italians, especially young people (81% between 18 and 24 years old). An approach that has changed after the pandemic as revealed by the study 'Italians and Work: What do we look for from a company? Much more than just a job', carried out by AstraRicerche for Heineken Italia, on a sample of over 1,000 Italian workers aged between 18 and 65. A job and a company to be called ideal, however, must have characteristics. The AstraRicerche – Heineken Italia study has identified the 5 fundamental characteristics for the perfect job: almost half of Italians (46%) would like adequate economic conditions and a good working environment, where there is a serene atmosphere among colleagues and with superiors. This is followed by a good balance between private and professional life (44%) and contractual stability (37%). But that's not all. Attention was also paid to the company's reputation (31%), mainly due to its commitment to sustainability (39%) and attention to issues related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (37%). "Heineken Italia has always cared about the well-being of people, with whom it shares the pleasure of being together, the passion and the determination to drive market growth in a sustainable way - said Teresa Ferro, People Director of Heineken Italia -. This is why we wanted to investigate how people's needs have evolved in recent years, to understand what the expectations of workers were and the results confirm that we are certainly on the right track and make us proud of the great steps forward made so far".
