The bicycle accident occurred on Wednesday at around 19.35 p.m. in Jahnstraße in Oberschweinbach. The teenager was riding his bike when a cat crossed the street. He braked so hard that he fell over the handlebars and fell to the ground. As a result, the young man was able to prevent a collision. However, he suffered several abrasions and a head injury in the fall. Since he had probably dislocated his shoulder, he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Runaway dog bites walker
A runaway hunting terrier attacked and injured a walker and his dog in Oberschweinbach on Wednesday. The 21-year-old Oberschweinbacher was walking with his French bulldog in the village when he was attacked and bitten by the German hunting terrier at 10 a.m. In addition, the terrier attacked his dog and injured him as well. In the end, the young man was able to put the terrier to flight. As the police investigation revealed, the dog had escaped from home. Investigations are now being conducted against the dog owner for negligent bodily injury and property damage, according to police chief inspector Oliver Erhardt.
