In August 2021, Elon Musk tweeted that Walter Isaacson was working on writing his biography. The writer clarified that under the terms of the agreement, he would spend two years alongside Musk, attending all sorts of meetings and thus becoming, on occasion, his shadow, having access to his inner circle and many of his texts and communications. However, the tycoon would have no control over the publication or the possibility of reading it beforehand. His work culminated in Elon Musk (Fayard), a biography of nearly 700 pages whose title is limited to the name of its protagonist, founder, among others, of the electric car company Tesla, the satellite and rocket company SpaceX and, since October of last year, owner of Twitter, renamed X.
Most of the time, Isaacson resides in his home in New Orleans, the city where he was born in 1952. However, he receives El País in his spacious and elegant apartment...
