As is well known, opinions differ on smells. This is especially true for perfume sprayed in the elevator. A wave of indignation is spreading here.
Hamburg – One man's joy, another man's sorrow, as the saying goes. What is meant by this: While some can enjoy something, for others it is pure torture. This is especially true of the ephemeral realm of fragrances. Of course, every person perceives smells differently and has different associations. Sometimes a fragrance is fragrant, sometimes it is simply disgusting.
This is also what happened in Hamburg, "Tatort" elevator or stairwell. Two pieces of paper point to what happened. Sometimes the excitement is great, once the thanksgiving is all the greater. The trigger for the reactions: perfume.

"Please refrain from 'perfuming' the elevator and stairwell," reads a note photographed for the Instagram page "notesofgermany". Above it is the note "once again", which suggests that perfume is often sprayed in the elevator. Or in the stairwell. So much for the fragrant starting point.
In the following, we will go into more detail about what so enrages the unknown author of the note. "The stench is unbearable and, above all, very harmful," it says. But that's not all. Allergies that would be triggered in this way "can be fatal," the note concludes. In other words, death from perfume or the allergic reactions that are caused. However, a waiter also reacted "allergically" to the tip entry of a restaurant bill.

But not all residents of the house react so negatively to the scent of the perfume that would be in the elevator. In fact, thanks are even given for the aforementioned act of "perfuming the elevator". Why, that is attached: "To be honest, it smells much better than the eternal dog grouch," says the author, who is also unknown. A happy-looking smiley at the end of the note completes the whole thing.
Of course, there is no shortage of comments in the corresponding Instagram post by "notesofgermany". "This extreme deodorant or perfume is disgusting, doesn't smell good and you can hardly breathe," it says, for example. Some perfumes are "already very intense" and can cause nausea, writes another user. In general, the number of people who agree with the author of the first piece of paper is far greater than the number of people who are in favor of the perfume in the elevator or stairwell.

"Some perfumes can be seen as harassment and coercion," one woman remarked. Another lady chats out of the digital sewing box and tells a dating anecdote: "I once had to scare away a date again because I got acute shortness of breath and severe allergic symptoms from his expensive but overapplied eau de toilette. It really wasn't funny," they say. Doesn't sound like love at first sight. This also applies to a special Leberkäs-Semmel, of which a man posted a photo – the indignation was great.

The remark that no one has yet "stinked" speaks out in favor of the person who has taken a liking to the smell of perfume in the elevator. However, the person is almost alone in the wide corridor. Because at the end, a lady who complains about penetrating-smelling perfume expresses herself again. She talks about her experience with an elderly lady and her perfumed "cloud". The solution: "I always counter it with a strong shot of my room spray 'Lavender', even helps a little on the balcony". Learned something again. And if they are not "stinked", then they are still alive today. (han)
