Berluti weaves his web

Weight: that's the enemy. On a trip too. To counteract the weight of luggage, large trunk makers have long known how to compose their travel items by combining canvas and leather. It is Berluti's turn to propose a variation on this classic subject.

Far from making it an agreed exercise, the French men's fashion house signs a virtuoso interpretation. Its scope of creations now goes far beyond beautiful shoes, to extend in an inspired way to clothing, luggage, leather goods or accessories through a department dedicated to special orders, including car customization.

It is also aboard a Porsche 356 convertible, completely revisited by its craftsmen that Berluti has chosen to lift the veil on the first line of luggage in Marbeuf Canvas. "Unique, the canvas is made of linen and lightly coated, in order to highlight its natural grain while promoting its flexibility," says the house.
