They are called to the polls Sunday, September 24 from 8:30 am to 17:30 pm for the senatorial, a mandatory ballot organized at the prefecture of Évry-Courcouronnes. The 2,619 grand electors (parliamentarians, departmental and regional councillors, delegates of the municipal councils) of the department must vote to elect the five senators essonniens among the eight lists running, two less than in 2017. The five incumbents are standing for re-election.
